Lady Bullets coast to Maroa Invite crown
Jenna Hansen was 4-for-4 with seven RBI and a pair of homers, and the Williamsville Lady Bullets softball
team drilled Nokomis 15-2 in five innings last Wednesday.
Hansen had two doubles as well for WHS, which scored twice in the first and four along with seven runs in the
second and four in the third.
Torey Sorenson added three hits and three RBI and Morgan Fanale chipped in two hits.
Jillian Hills struck out seven and gave up only one hit.

Thursday, Hills punched out 10 and allowed just two hits as the Lady Bullets downed New Berlin 6-0.
WHS scored single runs in the first, third and fourth before stretching the lead with three runs in the fifth.
Hansen (two RBI) and Kathryn Spenn both had two hits to pace the offense; Hills had a double and Sarah
Hibbs a triple.

The Lady Bullets won three games at the Maroa-Forsyth Invite Saturday, whipping the host (and previously
unbeaten) Lady Trojans 7-0, Macon Meridian 20-1 and Dunlap 9-0.
In the win over Maroa, WHS belted out a dozen hits and Hills allowed only three while fanning eight.
WHS scored twice in the first, once in the fourth and four times in the fifth.
Hibbs had a homer and finished 2-for-4 with three RBI; Jessie Satterlee (RBI), Hansen and Lauren Hollinshead
all chipped in two hits also. Spenn also had a double.
In the thumping of Macon, the Lady Bullets scored eight times in the second and 12 times in the fourth.
Hills got the win with three innings of relief.
Spenn had three hits, including two doubles), and she plated three runs. Hansen (RBI) also had three hits,
while Hibbs homered as part of her two-hit game, and she knocked in five. Satterlee finished with two hits and one
RBI.
Taylor Edwards also homered, and Hibbs and Jeffers both had doubles.
In the win over Dunlap, Hills fanned 11 in the six-inning affair.
Hills was also the hitting star, with three hits and three RBI. She had two doubles, and Jeffers, Spenn and Amy
Pesch also contributed two-baggers.
