Two events at RUMC Tuesday, January 10
Rochester United Methodist Church will be the site of two events Tuesday, January 10.
The J.O.Y. (Journeys of Young-At-Heart) Group will hold a Cabin Fever Day Tuesday, January 10. Registration will begin at 1:30
p.m. and activities include games starting at 2 p.m. (bingo, pinochle, Uno, Yahtzee or bring your own games) with door prizes and
game prizes awarded.
Announcements and future trips and an awards presentation will be held at 5 p.m. followed by a potluck dinner at 5:30 p.m.
Meat, drink and table service will be furnished; bring a covered dish to share.
Cabin Fever Day will conclude with a performance by the Todd Allen Family at 7 p.m. The Allens have traveled through 35 of the
United States and four Canadian provinces over the past 23 years in a full-time gospel music ministry. In 2000, Todd, his wife
Michelle and oldest son Caleb were awarded a first place finish at the National Quartet Convention Talent Search. In the years
since, other Allen children have joined the family ministry, which tours in their bus to fulfill 275 engagements each year.
