Riverfest Schedule of Events
Below is a schedule of events for Riverfest, Sept. 25-27 in Riverton. There will be food vendors all three days, and there is a silent auction to be held, with the proceeds to go to

Friday, September 25
5 p.m. Festival Begins
5 p.m.-10 p.m. Celebrity Dunk Tank (Sponsored by Riverton Girl Scouts)
5 p.m-10 p.m. Arts & Crafts Fair
5:30 p.m. Little Miss/Mr. Riverfest Contest (Sponsored by Illinois National Bank, Riverton Eagles and Szoke Photography)
6:30 p.m. Tug-A-Truck Competition; Adult Division
8 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.  Music by STILL KICK’N
Saturday, September 26
10 a.m. Parade through Riverton – theme:  At the Movies (Sponsored by Illinois National Bank [INB])   Pre-Registration Preferred, call Tina 629-9059
10 a.m.-10 p.m. Arts & Crafts Fair
11 a.m. 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament Begins
11:15 a.m. Presentation of Parade Winners under Pavilion
12 p.m. Registration for Horseshoe Tournament – sign up day of event.  $10 entry fee per team (cash prizes)
12 p.m. Registration for Car Show - sign up day of event $15 entry fee/car.
12 p.m. - 1 p.m. Registration for Rock Band Competition
1 p.m. Tug-A-Truck Competition; Junior Division
1 p.m. Horseshoe Tournament
1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Car Show  
2 p.m. - 4 p.m. Music by ANGELS N’ OUTLAWS

12 p.m. - 1 p.m. Registration for UFC and Bowling Contests
1 p.m. Rain Gutter Regatta (sponsored by Cub Scout Pack 46)
1 p.m. Registration for “Not So Newlywed Game” – maximum of six couples. Must be married/cohabitating a minimum of five years to enter – sign up day of event.
2 p.m. Not So Newlywed Game (prize for the winner)
2 p.m. UFC and Bowling Contests
2 p.m. Barnyard Bingo (Proceeds for Middle School Space Camp Trip)
