Community input for superintendent sought by board
The Pleasant Plains School Board has hired the search firm Ray and Associates, Inc. to assist with the search of a new
school superintendent.
Maureen Talbert, the current Superintendent, has announced that she will retire at the end of this school year.  At the school
board meeting on November 22, the board heard presentations from four executive search organizations and selected Ray and

Associates based on the services it can provide the District.
"The School Board would like to provide an opportunity for community input in to the creation of the profile that will be used to
advertise the position," said board president Mary Reynolds.
Interested community members may go to the School District website at:  www.ppcusd8.org and click on the link under
"News" to complete the online survey.
Ray and Associates will compile the information obtained from the online surveys and personal interviews and intends to
share the results at the next school board meeting Monday, December 19.
At that time, the School Board will finalize the process and timeline for the superintendent search.
