School board to host forum Dec. 21
The Pleasant Plains Board of Education will host a Community Forum at 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 21 at the Pleasant
Plains Middle School located on Farmingdale Road.
The purpose of the forum is to provide an opportunity for community input in to the search process for a new school
superintendent.  The current Superintendent, Maureen Talbert, is retiring at the end of this school year after 35 years in education.
The consulting firm Ray and Associates, Inc. will conduct the forum.  Through a series of questions and discussion,
participants will have an opportunity to provide input in to the qualities that the District is seeking in a new superintendent.  This
information will be used in promotional materials advertising the profile for the position.  The community is welcome to attend
and participate.
An online survey is available for those interested in providing input in to the qualities of a new superintendent, but cannot
attend the forum.  The survey can be found on the School District website under "News" at:  www.ppcusd8.org.
