Charleston.  The Titans (84-8) have
advanced to the Mattoon Sectional this
Saturday, where they are the No. 1 seed.

GHS Hall of Fame Banquet set April 25
The 2010 Glenwood High School Hall of Fame class has been selected for induction.  There are
four categories of recognition.
Lauren (Brown) Schmid, Class of 1996, will be inducted for Athletics; Pat Dowling, Class of 1979,
will be inducted for Achievement; Donna (Hypke) Corriveau, Class of 1964, will be inducted for
Service; and Samuel Nichols, Class of 1962, will be honored for Lifetime Recognition.
Homer Bartholomew, teacher, coach and principal from 1922 to 1935 will be honored
posthumously.  Also, the 1978 Glenwood High School football team will be inducted.  Biographies
for each inductee will be included in this newspaper in the coming weeks.
The GHS administration seeks information the whereabouts of the following 1978 football team
members: Mark Hand, Roy Denton, Barry Denardo, Mike Hand, Phil Keller, Dave Harris and
coaches Terry Drengwitz and Will Werhane.  Also, any information on the family of Homer
Bartholomew (1891-1943) would be greatly appreciated.  Contact Dan Rourke at 483-2424, ext. 5,

The Glenwood High School Hall of Fame was created to honor individuals or groups whose
actions have brought distinction to the Ball-Chatham School District.  
The 5th Annual Hall of Fame Banquet will be held Sunday, April 25, at 12:30 p.m. at GHS.  Tickets
are $20 each and may be purchased in the GHS Athletic Office.
