girls soccer team defeated Belleville Althoff
4-3 on June 2 to capture the Class 2A
Springfield Super-Sectional tite.  Team

REGIONAL CHAMPS! - The Glenwood High
School boys baseball team captured the
Class 3A Quincy Notre Dame Regional title
last Saturday with a 15-0 win over host QND in
five innings.  Team members are (front, l-r):

Molumby shuts down Triad, Crouch
sets table as boys headed to State

Tristan Molumby won his fourth postseason game this season by firing a
two-hitter, and the Glenwood offense did just enough in support to send the Titans
to the Class 3A state tournament following Monday's 4-1 victory over Troy Triad at
the Sauget Super-Sectional at GCS Park. (

Village, CWLP talking water, but agreement not close

the two sides are still far apart from Chatham renewing its commitment to CWLP and abandoning its plans for its own
water plant east of Rochester. (
