Auburn Township launches website
Auburn Township announces a new website dedicated to offering residents
expanded access to township services.
The site, www.toi,org/AUBURN TOWNSHIP, will concentrate on serving as an
extension of services provided by Auburn Township. Residents will now have the
latest information related to board meetings and programs available 24 hours a day.
Officials hope www.toi.org/AUBURNTOWNSHIP and the information superhighway
will allow all township residents easy access to township happenings and services.
"Township government is closest to the people and our site will continue this trend in
the 21st century," says Jill Horn, Township Supervisor.
Auburn Township provides its citizens road maintenance, assessment of property,
general assistance and numerous other programs. These programs include notary
services, emergency assistance, and referrals to other community agencies.
Township officials encourage visitors to call upon the site and provide the Auburn
Township feedback and suggestions. "We want our site to be a community resource.
We understand that not everyone can make the Township meetings and the website
will help better inform those individuals as well as provide an additional outlet for
feedback from residents regarding issues in Auburn Township," says Horn.
